What defines a rectangle face?
A rectangle face is noticeably longer than it is wide, with a straight forehead, flat sides and a squared-off jaw. The forehead, cheeks and jaw are close in width, and the length is the defining trait.

Curtain bangs, waves, shag layers and side fullness are useful ideas when you want more horizontal movement in the silhouette.
Be careful with
Long, straight, one-length hair with a centre part creates a strong vertical line. Keep it if that clean, elongated effect is what you want.
