What defines a square face?
A square face has a broad forehead, straight sides and a defined, angular jaw that's close in width to the forehead. The corners are sharp rather than curved, and the length and width are similar.
Works to explore
Curtain bangs, wispy layers and waves near the jaw are good references when you want movement around the face.
Be careful with
A blunt bob at jaw level or a heavy straight fringe creates a more graphic outline. Choose it deliberately if that is the look you enjoy.
